my cucumbers had tons of flowers and then they just died. I don't know if I did something bad, or if the weather was too hot or too wet, or whether that just happens here. The farm also didn't have cucumbers. Do you know if they are supposed to be done? My spring lettuce is done and I had done some slightly later lettuce which got killed by my cucumbers which I didn't realize spread. I'll do better next year, but ...do you know if cucumbers are supposed to die now?
Hi Sue, I had 3 cucumber plants and only one produced anything, although more bitter as it got older. I just picked the last of the two and the plant is all yellow and wilting. So I will probably pull it out after I pick the last one to make room for the tomato plant that is sprouting from the same location(don't ask) What's that about them spreading? Do they spread and kill your lettuce?
